My Office

Since we moved to the Blue Mountains I've been slowly making my office (I love calling it that, even though I just bum around online in here!) perfect and here are a few pictures of the stuff I have on the walls in here:
This poster is from Aimee Fleck and I got the cat shadow box and all of the little animal figurines from Candy Striped Cloud (they had an awesome sale on!)

The wall above my desk! My TFIOS poster from DFTBA, my inspiration board, a picture of Kathryn Janeway, a Chat Noir poster from eBay and a few other bits and pieces including a picture of Nathan and I at the zoo with a powerful owl!
My inspiration board is a bit bare at the moment, but these are some of my favourite bits. An Ankh Morpork City Watch badge I got at a Discworld con a couple of years ago, my Fat Vegetarian badge and some stickers from Aimee Fleck . (Also a Pet Barn gift card I got for Christmas haha)
I love this poster from DFTBA! Also a Mewlin Rouge birthday card from Nathan and an inspiration poster I printed out from here.

Finally, a large poster I bought last week in Newtown from Blue Dog Posters. I love it!
So that's all for now! Just a peek into my office. I plan on doing one soon for my desk and maybe even my bookshelves.

I hope you have an amazing week

Meet My Cats: Peach

We got Peach in February 2011 from the RSPCA. She was 2 years old and named Acacia (did NOT suit her) and my brother suggested we rename her Peach and it just suited her so nicely.

We fell in love with her at the RSPCA and there was someone else there adopting a cat and I was SO scared she has chosen Peach.

Peach, AKA precious, angel, fluffy, fluffernutter, Machu Picchu, little fatty, fluff butt, stink butt (seriously), precious angel girl, baby, cutie, sweetie. We don't mean to baby her, but come on...look at her!
She is the sweetest little kitty in the whole world, but no one gets to meet her because she is also the biggest scaredy cat ever. Only 2 of my friends have seen her and the only people other than us who have patted her are my brother in law who cat-sat for us for 2 weeks and my Mum who happened to find her hiding place! She runs away from EVERYONE.
She is pretty affectionate with us when she feels like it! She likes to bite your fingers and lick you...
She pees in shoes and baskets of clean laundry (very, very occasionally!), but we forgive her because she is so sweet...
She meows A LOT. And I mean A LOT. You touch her, and she meows, meow at her and she meows back. No food in the bowl? You will know about it!
"MEOW...I mean...ROOOOOAR!"
She only gets into bed with us if it's freezing outside, and never within arms reach.  She is the sweetest little girl and we love her a lot. I think she is Nathans favourite (only because she doesn't wake us up at 5am!), but I love both my cats equally.

Meet My Cats: Noah

I have 2 cats named Noah and Peach. I thought I would do a little post on each of them to introduce them :-)

I got Noah in November 2007 after my previous cat (Caesar) had to be put down. The RSPCA gave me Caesar and it turned out he was really sick, so since he had to be put to sleep (after I had fallen in love with him) they told me I could come back and get a new cat. I waited a while, but eventually went back and fell in love with a teeny tiny white kitten that fell asleep in my arms.

Noah, AKA fatso, Señor Noah, butso, fatty, lumpy, handsome. He's a big fat cat and I love him. He's always hungry...

he wakes us up by running over the tops of our pillows, by pulling tissues out of the box,
and by banging his paws on the mirrored wardrobe doors...
he's the handsomest cat and he has heaps of personality. He only meows when he is hungry...
and when I leave the room and he doesn't know where I am...
"I am so good looking"
He is the more affectionate of our two cats, he loves to be near us, he loves headbutting faces
and snuggling into bed with us on cold nights.
